In a significant milestone for the city of Gallatin, Tennessee, and the Gallatin Department of Electricity (GDE), T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. has officially broken ground on phase one of an eagerly anticipated expansion project. This project marks a pivotal moment in the community’s history, promising improved services and a brighter future for its residents.

The current scope of work involves extensive site preparation and development on a 12.41-acre parcel, with 4.5 acres of land being reworked to accommodate the expansion, and the construction of two distinct pre-engineered metal buildings.

  • The Truck Loading facility is a 23,500 square foot facility designed to meet the needs of truck loading operations efficiently and effectively.
  • The Truck Parking facility is a 6,700 square foot facility dedicated to truck parking and related activities.
  • We anticipate an addition to their existing facility to reach GMP by the end of January 2024.
