The Metro Stormwater Administration Building and Maintenance Facility project includes the construction of a 23,550 SF two-story office building and a 10,210 SF single- maintenance building. The project also includes 200 additional parking spaces, relocation of the Guard Building, and installation of three new bio-retention ponds and a windmill, preparing Metro Water for their future "Net Zero" campaign. The office building serves as a demonstration facility for Stormwater design best practices, featuring low-impact site design, a green roof, and a cistern. A state-of-the-art rainwater collection system, including a 10,000-gallon above-ground water tank, enables water reuse for toilets, irrigation, and other purposes. This LEED Gold certified project exemplifies sustainable design and water conservation practices in modern urban infrastructure.
