Yesterday, T.W. Frierson had the honor of sponsoring the 19th Annual Mission: Possible Turkey Fry, an incredible event dedicated to raising support and awareness for those experiencing homelessness in Middle Tennessee and beyond. For the fourth consecutive year, we were thrilled to be part of this impactful tradition, which brought together volunteers to fry 1,600 turkeys, helping to feed the homeless and hungry. It was a heartwarming way to kick off the holiday season and make a tangible difference in our community.
Founded by country music artist Tracy Lawrence in 2006, Mission: Possible began with the Turkey Fry as its flagship fundraiser. Since its launch, the organization has fried over 6,400 turkeys, raised more than $600,000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission, and provided over 90,000 meals to those in need. In 2021, Mission: Possible expanded its reach with the Mission: Possible Celebrity Golf Classic, a spring event that has already raised over $800,000. Between these two events and additional contributions, Mission: Possible has raised over $2 million to fight homelessness, fulfilling its mission and advocating for this critical cause.
At T.W. Frierson, we are inspired by Mission: Possible’s unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Events like the Turkey Fry remind us of the power of community and the importance of giving back, especially during the holiday season.
A huge thank you to Tracy Lawrence, the Mission: Possible team, and all the volunteers who made this year’s Turkey Fry such a success. Here’s to continuing this tradition, spreading hope, and supporting those in need across Middle Tennessee.
