T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. is a family owned business that has established a reputation for being a contractor with a mission to always exceed their owner’s expectations. T.W. Frierson was founded in 1958 by Mr. Ted Frierson who ran a small, well respected, contracting business until retirement in 1971. In 1971, Mr. Ernest Taylor and Jim Nolan purchased the business from Mr. Frierson and ran it as an equal partnership until 1973 when Mr. Winston Hickman joined the company. Today, the company has successfully transitioned to its third ownership structure while always maintaining a reputation for “doing the right thing” for their clients. T.W. Frierson is proud that we are still a contractor that has the ability to “do work”. While many general contractors have become more of a construction manager, T.W. Frierson has continued to be a true general contractor in the sense that we self perform concrete, steel erection, sheet metal, and carpentry work with our own personnel. We firmly believe that this is the T.W. Frierson difference.
